Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the purchase of goods and services from 3-102-939275 SRL (trading as "NovastormIT"). By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. VPS Infrastructure Services
Our Virtual Private Servers (VPS) are provisioned immediately upon purchase. This incurs immediate hard costs with our data center partners.
- No Refunds on Active Servers: Once a VPS has been provisioned and the IP address assigned to you, the monthly fee is considered fully earned and non-refundable, regardless of whether you log in or use the server.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your VPS subscription at any time via your dashboard. Cancellation will stop future billing immediately. The server will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period, after which it will be destroyed.
2. Software Subscriptions (SaaS)
For recurring software subscriptions (Platform fees, License Management tools):
- Monthly Subscriptions: Payments are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent the next month's charge. You will retain access to the platform until the end of your billing cycle.
- Free Trials: If you are on a free trial, you must cancel before the trial period ends to avoid being charged. We do not offer refunds if you fail to cancel prior to the trial expiration.
3. Exceptions (Technical Faults)
We stand by the quality of our infrastructure. We WILL provide a full refund in the following specific technical scenarios:
- Provisioning Failure: If our system fails to deploy your server or deliver your login credentials within 24 hours of payment.
- Double Billing: If a technical error causes you to be charged twice for the same invoice.
- Major Service Outage: If the server is inaccessible for more than 24 consecutive hours due to a fault on our end (excluding scheduled maintenance windows).
To request a refund under these exceptions, please contact support within 7 days of the incident.
4. Non-Qualifying Refund Requests
Important: Refunds will
NOT be issued for the following reasons:
- Service Performance vs. Goal: We provide computing resources (RAM, CPU, Storage). We do not guarantee that the software you choose to run on these resources will achieve any specific operational result. Failure of your software to perform as expected is not grounds for a refund of the hosting fee.
- User Error: Inability to use the provided software due to lack of technical knowledge or failure to read the provided documentation.
- 3rd Party Incompatibility: Issues caused by third-party software updates, incompatibility with external APIs, or other software dependencies outside of our control.
5. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact our support team before initiating a dispute with your bank. We take chargeback fraud seriously. If a chargeback is initiated without prior communication, we reserve the right to immediately terminate all your active services, licenses, and servers, and ban your account from future use.
